There are over 6,000 children waiting to be adopted in the UK. To help highlight the plight of these children, Families for Children have created a ‘Happy Childhood Memories’ campaign video. To add weight to the campaign, the short film features many of the Families for Children celebrity patrons, including actress Caroline Quentin, Michael Caines MBE, presenter Judi Spiers, local celebrity Mark Tyler and children’s author David Lawrence Jones. They each talk about their happy childhood memories, in order to prompt potential adopters to think about their own childhoods. By creating an empathetic scenario, it is hoped that this would act as a trigger for potential adopters to pick up the phone to Families for Children, to find out more information.
The video was created in conjunction with MGV Productions, and follows the childhood stories of each of the celebrity patrons, filmed in a stylistic way that highlights each individual person, focusing solely on the message without any distractions. A well polished production by MGV and a great performance by the celebrity patrons.
Families for Children would love to know what you think of the video and feel free to share this article, so that other potential adopters can take a look.
